A while back I wrote about how getting dressed as a demi-elder isn't easy. Sharing here a few times I pulled myself together, took a look in the mirror and said, “Oh, hi. You look like you.” And then got on with my day. * Me: I am not tall and no longer young. These are facts.
As much as I adore your style, I love your wit even more - loved “stop making sense shoulders” and everything related to being a Demi-elder. It reminds me of the book title I wish I had crafted “Older, But Better, But Older.”
I love all of these outfits. I am also a small person 5'2", equally not young :-) and I would definitely wear all of these (except my bank account would not be happy!) I have to go mid-range price-wise and Zara and Mango get much of my business (I live in Spain) if I am in the US I can push the boat out and hit the outlet malls for some designer treats! Shoes I definitely invest in, I take a size 5 US and can't get shoes to fit me at all in Europe so the shoe stores get plenty of my dollars when I am on that side of the pond. Anyway, my point here is that I think you look very stylish. I would love to see more posts like this!
